Technical Coated Fabrics

Fenner Precision is a global leader in the design and development of technical coated fabrics for use in various industries and applications throughout the world.

Our low friction Fabrics are manufactured in the USA, in different styles and standard widths from a wide variety of high-performance yarns and adhesives. Fabrics are woven and adhesive-coated in-house and supplied in roll form.

Bearing manufacturers incorporate Fenner's low friction fabrics as dry lubricants in their bearings — our high-performance, low friction Fenlon™ fabrics are coated with reinforcing thermoset resins, and are custom-manufactured for self-lubricating plain bearings, slip clutches and drag brake applications. Fenner Precision does not offer standard products.

Our flexible heater pad materials are fabricated in Europe from glass fabrics coated with silicone elastomers. They are designed to be flexible for use in applications like car seats, where flex is an important characteristic. Although Fenner Precision does not manufacture heater pads, our glass/silicone products are used by heater manufacturers in a wide variety of heater pad applications. Our unreinforced silicone sheets are also available and are generally used in the manufacture of heater pad terminal block connection points.

Various UL listed material grades are available to cover different temperature ranges. Glass fabrics are coated in-house with different grades of silicone and are supplied in roll form.
